Formula

Millions = Crores x 10 | Crores = Millions / 10

One crore equals 10 million. A crore is 10,000,000 in the Indian numbering system. Multiply crores by 10 to get millions, or divide millions by 10 to get crores. For further conversions: 1 crore = 100 lakhs, and 100 crores = 1 billion.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is the crore-to-million conversion important in business?

Indian companies listed on stock exchanges like BSE and NSE report their financial results in crores of rupees, while international investors and analysts work with millions and billions. When an Indian company reports revenue of 5,000 crores, international reports need to express this as 50,000 million (or 50 billion) for comparison with global peers. This conversion is also critical for foreign direct investment, cross-border mergers, and international trade documentation.
