Annual Fuel Savings = (Miles/MPG x Gas Price) - (Miles/Efficiency x Electric Rate)
Annual gas fuel cost divides total miles by fuel efficiency (MPG) then multiplies by gas price per gallon. Annual EV fuel cost divides total miles by EV efficiency (miles per kWh) then multiplies by electricity rate. The difference is your annual fuel savings, plus maintenance savings.
