Age here is anniversary-based calendar arithmetic rather than a simple division. Each birth date is subtracted from today by borrowing days from the preceding month, which holds 28 to 31 days, and borrowing months from the year, so a person born on 15 March 1988 turns 37 on 15 March 2025 no matter how many leap days fell in between. Total-day counts divide elapsed milliseconds by 86,400,000 and therefore do include leap days, while gaps shown in years convert exact day counts using 365.25 days per year. For context on realistic spacing, the mean birth interval between siblings in the United States is roughly 2.5 years, the World Health Organization has since 2005 recommended waiting at least 24 months after a live birth before conceiving again, and intervals under 18 months carry measurably higher rates of preterm birth and low birth weight. Zodiac assignment uses fixed tropical sun-sign cut-off dates, with Capricorn beginning 22 December, Aquarius 20 January and so on.
