Formula
eDPI = DPI × Sensitivity | cm/360° = (2.54 × 360) / eDPI
Effective DPI (eDPI) combines hardware DPI and software sensitivity. cm/360° is how far you move the mouse for a full 360° turn.
Worked Examples
Example 1: 800 DPI × 1.5
Problem:800 DPI, 1.5 sensitivity
Solution:eDPI=1200, cm/360°=76.2 cm
Result:76.2 cm per 360°
